Nell is a Visual Artist and Photographer practising on Yagara Country in Queensland.

Her practice incorporates multiple mediums. Initially considering herself a painter, her practise now spans painting, photography and textile based mediums.

Her work is introspective, yet it often pulls from the world around her. She is fascinated by the subconscious mind and desired realities often having hints of dystopia throughout her work.

Recently she has been interested in themes of military, femininity and identity.

She often pulls inspiration from Neo-Expressionism, Surrealism and Street Art movements. While utilising the archive as a resource for her work.
